Meet Nicole.

I was born in the UK and lived in Australia before settling in Canada as a child (in Banff, back when they turned the traffic light off for the winter!). 🇬🇧🇦🇺🇨🇦

At one point I owned almost 100 chickens, 50 turkeys, 50 ducks, 4 goats, 3 horses, 15 sheep, 10 pigs, and a never-ending need for feed! 🐔🦆🦃🐐🐴🐑🐖🛒

I’ve walked two Caminos and would love to do more! Here I am with two handsome friends on Monte de Gozo. 👣🇪🇸🇵🇹

but most importantly…

My parents were both artists. My mother was a photographer and my father was a fine artist. In fact, he was the first artist in residence at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity back in the late ‘60s! Perhaps you or someone you know has collected some of his work (E. Colin Williams, ARCA). If you happen to have a piece, let me know—I’d love to see where some of those winter landscapes and other Alberta scenes have ended up! 🧑🏼‍🎨🎨

I met my husband rock climbing 🧗🏼‍♂️

I’m currently doing a part-time master’s degree in liberal studies—with my daughter as a classmate. 📖🎓

When I do leave our beautiful mountains, it’s a good guess that I’m heading off to do some sailing! I love being in, on, or around the water. Dolphins are my favourite and I’ve been lucky enough to see many wild dolphins, whales, and turtles while on various sailing trips. ⛵🐬🏝️

I had a past life as a children’s book author before moving into Real Estate. Here I am in Nevada delivering letters as part of a tour for my Pony Express book, “Jo’s Triumph”. 🖊️📚

I was surprised by my own wedding the DAY BEFORE IT HAPPENED! 💍👰🏼🤵🏼

She also runs a small letterpress studio from the boat, which spends most of its time near Victoria, BC.
